@shift613 or maybe turn off the captions -_-
i was watching a video about military push ups and the guy was counting. He counted one for every two push ups he did. if anyone knows if thats really how the military counts it can you tell me? i want to join the army but can only do 15 push ups doing it that way. and the same for sit ups?
@flampard0808
the army counts pushups as a 4 count exercise.
let’s say you’re at starting position…
down-1
up-2
down-3
up-1 (pushup)
Keep your legs straight out,knees locked and feet together(parallel) and arms extended at a vertical line or with your elbows out.Latter is lower but puts more strain on the shoulders.Then slowly release,down till your horizontal with the ground,then
“push up” until you have air time,clap your hands together then back to your original position.
@duckieebeatd0wn ok thats what the video showed too, that sucks ha ha. but thanks.
I do 45-50 push ups every day (regular push ups) and when im doing them it feels like my left arm isn’t doing as much as my right arm any suggestions
@ArchHavick use ur left arm more like when playing sports because naturally ur dominate hand is stronger
@ArchHavick I second this.
I’m trying t focus on my left arm but… its all my right arm.
I feel all my left arm is doing is stabalizing my body… while my right does the actual push up.
@ozzynirvana666 try doing pyramid push ups. do 2 rest, 4, rest, 6, rest up to 10 then go back down. 8,6,4,2. that definently works. what branch are u getting into? im getting in shape for air force
uhm. yo for people that have the “right arm feels stronger than left” its ok becuz actually u use the same amount. do not try to lean on one side more when doing ush-ups. ur arms will start to form differently MUCH FASTER and itl be all weird.
that weakness in ur left arm may never go away but trust me. ur left hand may be stronger actualy.
uhmm i call those regular push ups. i was waiting for something special, what a disappointment
He forgot to mention that when you hit the bottom position you hold it there for 2 to 3 seconds and then go back up. that’s what helps you build up strenght faster

Its been 3 weeks as I’ve started doing push-ups and I feel a great change in my body but im not sure if I am doing them right … i do around 40 push-ups per set,4-5 sets a day but I do them very fast and I dont go all the way down..its like im doing a 3/4 of a push-up but im making awsome progress…can someone tell me if this has any negative sides if I do them for a long time ?? everyones saying im not doing them right and its not the right way to good form if someone can reply to this tnx
we have 21sissies here. helped btw
@AstralForeseer its alright as long as your arms are at a 90 degree angle when you push back up
i cant do it for some reason my arms shake a lot
@AstralForeseer lesser sets, and reps but better form. all the way down and take 2 seconds going down and 2 coming up.
@jmmcnc lol
WTF I thought it was with your hands close together lol seems like I have been doing my 300 push ups a day wrong -,-
